Mine doesn't work.
The product does NOT WORK as promised. The planning, scheduling and eventual arrival on-site to do the installation work was chaotic and subject to last minute changes. The salesman measured wrong, so the technicians cut a section of gutter to the wrong length. The price was WAY too high considering the quality of the product and the installation service.
Ice cycles/1/4 to 1/2 inch layer on front door steps. Is there a fix??!!
Problems with Leafguard include lack of communication, poor customer service, incredibly poor design and poor installation. 1. Lack of communication - on the day that we signed the sales contract (May 19), the salesman made a big deal of calling to schedule the installation date for the following Saturday (May 22). LeafGuards are not catching the rain as they said, when it rains it doesn't go to the gutters.
The salesman who estimated our project did not tke into consideration the deck we had on the back and so the first installers had to to come back and their job appeared shotty at best.
The installers did not adhere to the design but did fix one downspout. I'm sure the gutter the other downspouts will perform well but it does not look as good as it could have. We still do not have our eight (8) downspout splash blocks that were promised to us as part of our purchase, despite a promise by phone and email that we would have them within a week.
