We had Leaf Guard out last night. The representative ***** was very helpful and professional. He did not pressure us to purchase anything and was very knowledgable. He even stayed longer to help us decide on a color. We ended up going with this company due to all of the above, we have had 2 other companies out where we felt pressured and reps seemed only out for the sale. We purchased LeafGuard gutters a couple of years ago for our primary residence. As one of their customers, my complaint concerns the companys lack of professionalism and seeming inability to adequately follow up with customer concerns. I also do not understand how this company can be rated A+. I spent nearly three months contacting Leafguard attempting to get them to clean a blocked gutter. They finally came, significantly after their appointed time when I was not at home, and did not do any cleaning. Yesterday I cleared the clogged downspout in about 20 minuted.
I have a no soliciting sign on my door but often people ignore it. Which, if asked to leave and they do not- is then considered trespassing. Well, this happened today. I am a pregnant woman, and was alone in the house when this aggressive sales *** knocked on the door. I politely said no and I needed to return back to work. Rude sales folks. Cant read a no soliciting sign and doesnt understand what the word soliciting means. Then gets an attitude after being educated what soliciting is and that their actions constitutes soliciting.
I am very dissatisfied with the claims the company makes, and yet we now face even worse issues. We reached out to LeafGuard to get a quote for installing gutters and redirecting water away from the foundation and the house. The "irrigation expert" who came out to look at the house pointed out all the obvious signs of why we have gutters. This was fine because we understand you need to explain why to some customers. I've never encountered such a lack of professionalism. Their sales person spoke like he was in a boys high school locker room, was swearing and talking about his anger management issues, referring to previous clients as "a total prick", but the icing on the cake was his recalling a concert that he attended where "there were 2 chicks on stage eating each other out" and how the whole concert turned into a big ****. Really disappointed in this company. Job not completed and I have called several times since May. I informed sales *** that my deck was bad and if they could not complete the job I would wait to get deck ***laced. He assured me they could, well when the ********** came, they sold me on the same lie.
