Excellent flavors and presentation of food. Very attractive dining room with nice linens. A little on the noisy side and service was slow. We went at 1 pm for lunch and it was quieter then. Will return.
Great authentic Burmese food, do not go a lifetime without their fermented tea salad, their version of samosas and pad thai. Many great options - both paleo, vegetarian and vegan. Very fresh. Great service. One downside - parking (San Carlos) is an issue. Allow ample time to find parking.
To be honest I have experienced better Burmese cuisine. So I would give them 3 stars. However, their service has been consistently good and attentive that they deserve the 4th star. Also I love the Burmese print art on their walls. The restaurant has great light and feels welcoming. They also have many options on their menu for vegetarians and meat lovers. They just need to improve the quality of their food and then they would be a solid 4-star restaurant.

This was one of the top 3 meals of my life; I am in San Carlos a few times a year for work and will definitely be back every time I'm in town!! It was also great that they have gluten-free options available which made it easy for me.
We love coming to Rangoon Ruby in San Carlos. The food is always excellent. This time however, the samosa salad was not quite as good as it normally is. The basil chilie swai and the Ruby shrimp were excellent. We have recommended this Resturant to many friends.
Very noisy hard to hear - also warm but I love the food and the service is great
Everything from the appetizers to the main course was delicious! Definitely coming back here!
