OMG. We have been talking about going to this place. We finally did. What great food. The lettuce cups with chicken and shrimp. We to die for ad was the Mango chicken. We will be back.
We always enjoy coming to Rangoon Ruby. The samosa salad has always been fabolous - this time it was disappointing. Maybe one of the ingredients was missing. ..The Basil chilie swai ( fish) was good , but not as good as usual. The vegetarian dish was very good. The Resturant was busy and they appeared to be short staffed. The service was slow but efficient and friendly.

compare to Palo Alto branch their food wasnot as favorable as the other one
The service was not anywhere near as good as at it was at the Rangoon Ruby in Belmont the last time we visited. We had four dishes ALL of which were well prepared, presented and tasty. Especially enjoyed the Cajun style catfish.
Service has been slow lately. Food is always good but maybe they are short staffed?
Always great food, service, ambiance! Great place to bring guest and visitors from out of town.
There are several Burmese restaurants in the mid-Peninsula area. Simply stated, the San Carlos Rangoon Ruby is great. Food was very tasty and server Karen was top-notch. Definitely a "go-back".
Everything we've tried has been tasty and consistently good.
