Good, interesting food. Good, attentive service. Many food choices. A little heavy on oil. Nonalcoholic drinks cost too much. Looking forward to trying salads next time. Curried eggplant was divine. Rice was a little mushy.
The fermented tea leaf salad was unique and nothing I would have ordered if it hadn't been recommended by a local merchant. The salad was a very tasty vegetarian option, and even if you're not vegetarian, still good. I know that samosas are deep fried since they are one of my favorite bites and I have them often, nevertheless, these were too oily for my liking and the stuffing was a bit bland. We went to this restaurant to celebrate my sons birthday. My husband had seen a review for this restaurant on "Check Please". It received high marks for their food. We were so glad we tried this place. the food was terrific. We have never been to a Burmese restaurant before and we were not disappointed. We will definitely go back. We had the Sesame Beef, sooooo goood. the string beans very good and the Tofu Beef dish, spicy but was enjoyed. The service was very good. Our waiter very attentive.
Girls night
food was good, but a little on the expensive side
The staff members are attentive and pleasant. Our waiter helped with recommendations that were right on for our tastes. The tea lead salad is a must try when visiting. The coconut ice cream is delicious. There isn't a full bar, but a great selection if wine and beer.
Valentines. Very crowded of course and staff was overwhelmed.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Bay Area. My favorites are the tea leaf salad, garlic egg plant, and coconut rice. So amazing!
Lovely Valentine's dinner. Opted for the special event menu and food was amazing. They gave away a rose to reach table and although it was very busy the food was fabulous and we'll be back for sure!
