Took my mom here for a birthday lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Food was very good, and service was fast and efficient. Will definitely go back!
This is our 3rd visit to the restaurant. The wait staff is very attentive without being bothersome. We always try to add to our experience by trying new things. The Tea leaf salad is a sure winner.
This was my first visiting Burmese cuisine at Rangoon Ruby. I had Chicken Kebat and it definitely different from what we have in Mediterranean and Greek Restaurant. I loved it. The Tea Leaf Salad is must have. It has tangy flavor of the tea leaf which you would like to have it more often

This is a very new and very chic Burmese restaurant with very attentive and helpful wait staff. I had wanted a truly Burmese food experience so I asked the waiter to help me with the food selections. He was most helpful since there was a very large selection to pick from and I would have trouble on my own. We have been here several times and it has been a real treat every time. The food is fresh and full of flavors that are well balanced and pack a punch. Try the Samosas, Tea Leaf Salad and Ruby Shrimp with Coconut Rice on the side. Truly delicious. We've been too stuffed to try the deserts, but I have no doubt they are a hit. Great service, too. We sat outside on a hot evening and enjoyed the people watching.
Very friendly and efficient service. Love the way they serve some dishes by tossing the ingredients together at your table, and explaining each component. Makes me want to try everything on the menu!
I had lunch with 2 friends. We all had tea leaf salad. This was my first time at Rangoon Ruby. I have had tea leaf salad at Burmese restaurants in San Francisco. This was even better which is hard to believe. I will definitely be back. There is now a Rangoon Ruby in Belmont. I plan to check that one out too.
