The only downside to this restaurant, which is otherwise outstanding, is that it is noisy when busy. Fr this reason it is not a good place for an intimate romantic night out. There are sidewalk tables which may be better since Laurel street is not a busy thoroughfare. Despite this I would highly recommend Rangoon Ruby's for the amazing and unusual cuisine.

We sat outside and unfortunatly we got a bit of smoke from the cigar shop just to the north. Otherwise our dinner was great . The food was delicious and very plentiful and the service was great.
We were a party of five celebrating my birthday at Rangoon Ruby where we had a fantastic experience, from a great welcome, to a neat atmosphere, to excellent food, and finally to outstanding service. We had a great time!! Thank you!!
Our server was great and service from all was very attentive. Thanks for the special touch for the birthday we were celebrating. Made the visit extra special.
We really loved the food. Dishes were all really interesting and flavorful. Tables are a bit tight in the restaurant but we had a nice couple sitting next to us.
The food was wonderful. Service was extremely slow.
The food is excellent, however the waiter rushed us as it was obvious he wanted to turn the table as quickly as possible. Otherwise, I would recommend based on the great menu selection.
