Had Lifetime install our siding 6 years ago. Had hail damage in July of 2016. Began working with Lifetime to get a quote, work with my insurance company and get the job done. Long story short, the job was completed in April of 2017. Back office and Account Management were extremely painful and unresponsive....
While I think that overall project and product is good, the process that it took to get there was very frustrating.
The install was sub par. They left a big mess at my house. They broke a window and left glass and debris on my floor and blood on my walls. They broke an outlet at my house and didn't tell me and put a huge pull in my front entrance rug without saying anything. Their caulking job was sloppy and careless....
The windows were mismeasured. The construction was not done on time, and the install date was delayed 30 days. They sent the wrong front door 3 times, and I finally had to have a custom door built. They sold me a prefinished package where it doesn't match the siding or trim, resulting in me having to...
The installation crew installed metal trim around doors that prevented the doors from opening without binding and damaging the trim. I had to remove the metal trim so the doors would function. This left screw holes in the vinyl trim they were trying to cover up with the metal trim. They also installed...
The installation crew was fantastic! The salesperson and management left much desired.
My experience was not positive on many levels. I would not recommend.
The windows I ordered from Lifetime were incorrect.
I have never dealt with such an unprofessional, unqualified company as this. We can all make mistakes but to continually lie about the corrections that has been implemented to solve the problem is not acceptable. I did not appreciate being asked, many times, to pay for the project before it was completed....
