This is one of the cleanest & most professional storage facilities I have encountered! After shopping around to choose a storage facility, I had to go with Oceanside Storage. Alfonso is one of the best people I have met & does an exemplary job with everything there. What a pleasure it was to see how well-maintained the property was & how the staff genuinely cared about meeting customer needs. I would absolutely recommend this storage facility & continue to bring my business there!
Thieves took my radio with camera screen and 2500.00 in goods from my 2021 rv at this place I pay 200.00 a month. Transients in Oceanside are a major issue, not homeless, but these crooks are a major issue. The property has camera's but BE AWARE, look elsewhere.

extremely disappointed with light house. I spent a long time on the phone with a man named Christian who I was told was the manager. I was promised a specific price for a unit and when it came time to pay the next day, I was told that the price he quoted was impossible and they would not rent the space to me for that price. I asked them to contact the original manager i spoke to and they told me no. I don't know if they were just trying the old bait and switch, or just bad communication. either way, bad business practice.

I'll start this review by saying this place lacks customer service. I have kept a motorhome here for approximately seven years out of necessity. I recently discovered that the fence behind my rig was crashed into and heavily damaged by a vehicle. The metal fence and stone pillar is now leaning towards my rig. The storage facilities solution was to brace it with, with wood shoring. That in itself is a least preventing it from falling over. What I'm upset about is that i was not notified. I am issuing a specific complaint in reference to an incident occurring on 3/23/2020 at the Oceanside location of Lighthouse self-storage. Due to an incident with employee or assistant manager (she identified herself as both) I pulled my business form this facility. Avoid this place! Long term renter. Two different units I rented flooded multiple times when it rained. They did not let me know when it happened and had that "too bad, so sad" attitude. The last time was in December. manager Isaiah assured me district manager James would provide some type of compensation given the water damage and items lost. They are constantly raising the rates. Every time I start to get settled in on what I am paying then another email telling me my rate will be going up another $10. The best part is the email says as a valued customer you will be paying less then new customers but when I checked rates online they are $20 less per month then my new rate. Please know that we follow industry standard practices in applying rent increases and have actually found that we are often more lenient than many other facilities in the area, although yes, increases are sometimes necessary due to our own increased operating costs. We went to the storage location and was impressed with the appearance, very clean and well kept. We reserved a spot for our RV prior to getting the coach, when we went to facility with the coach (three days later) we went with an online offer showing senior discounts, an introductory offer of $1 for the first month and a free month. We were told that they no longer offer Senior discounts and that we needed to show this offer at the time we secured the space. The miscommunication about the status of discounts applied to the last unit type in an inventory is also our fault. Again, we have worked to remedy this by additional training of our staff. This place is infested with rats! Rat piss all over my stuff, rat poop inside my boxes. Last time i went there i saw a dead rat on the aisle! I took photos, and uploaded them for you people to see.
