RecommendedTheir vets are very good in knowledgeable. Unfortunately that's the only thing good about this place. I really appreciate calling waiting 6 minutes and 38 seconds for them just to hang up on me so I have to call back and wait all over again just to get my cat's medication. I appreciate even more people showing up after me in getting served before me for said medication. I understand they're busy and everything's chaotic but this is ridiculous as soon as this veterinary crisis is over I will be finding a new place.
RecommendedI have been going to Liverpool for 10+ years and this has been by far the worst experience of my life! My 2 year old Labradoodle was wrongfully diagnosed with pneumonia because Dr. Sichak did not want to do her job correctly. After 2 weeks of force feeding my dog & giving him medication with no signs of improvement, we go back to the vet and work with Dr. Fahey (who was GREAT!) Apparently pet care has now turned into a brokerage firm…$$$$$ Not with high prices but trying to push as many animals through as possible! It’s a shame! Liverpool Village Animal Hospital has gone from being a really great hospital to nothing more than a cash cow. RecommendedCalled 10-15 places for an emergency situation with a 6 day old puppy. Not a soul would help. Called the Liverpool Village Animal Hospital and they had me bring the baby right out. Within three minutes, a vet tech met me in the driveway and assessed the baby. She offered me to come in immediately and explained her intent for triage and treatment. This has been my absolute favorite place to go for the longest time. My dog typically has a good time here and the staff are incredible for the most part. Typically Beamer is seen by either one of the Nicole’s. They weren’t available so I made the appt. with Dr. Holtze. While his tone and demeanor were fine, the entire conversation felt like one sales pitch after another. It was my first time ever walking out feel uncomfortable. Dr Pinneo or Mr Pinneo, as I don’t regard him as a doctor as doctor treats people/animals, is a great sales person promoting tablets containing parasiticides. He recommends Bravecto/NexGard/Simparica without informing pet owners of potential serious consequences. My friend’s dog has died because of Mr Pinneo’s actions. Do not recommend.
Dr. Pinneo gave my 5lb KCC a sample of NexGard, she had a seizure and his recommended was to euthanize her. I trusted him. After doing my research, after she was already dead, I find out that NexGard is POISON and has killed many dogs!! Dr. Pinneo you owe me $3000 for another KCC. I won’t stop, and I will make sure everyone will be aware of your negligence!
Our dog ingested and puked up a screw and all they did was an X ray and said nothing else was inside him. They never checked for internal bleeding and even with multiple trips over the course of 4 days to this place and our dog puking up blood over those 4 days they still insisted he would be fine.
