I’ve been going here since 1998 when they were a shack next to the railroad tracks. Within the last four years, they’ve been going downhill bit by bit. The turnover rate has become ridiculous, they’ve lost all of the friendly staff (except for Michelle and a few), the caring, helpful cheer is gone and it’s way too clinical. The new vets are so green they don’t know what they’re doing. I was lucky enough to catch two major health risks that they Neglected to inform me. Their prices have skyrocketed and they no longer even bot... read more

I am usually happy with Liverpool Village Animal Hospital, but recently my dog, Lily, had an ear infection. She was seen here and given an antibiotic. I was scheduled a re-check visit and I asked the vet, more than once, if there would be an office visit charge. He said “NO”. It’s just a re-check. I went in yesterday for that. He did a culture to make sure the infection was gone, which I figured was normal procedure for the “no charge” re-check. Since she was due for a heart worm test in a couple weeks, I asked him if there ... read more

Our cat Tiger is the meanest cat in America. He will hiss and lash out at someone just walking past him. My son practically had to put on armor to get him into the cat carrier when we discover that he had symptoms of a urinary tract infection. Yet they were able to get him to be calm and even x-rayed to check for bladder stones. And gave him a long acting antibiotic so we didn’t have to try to get pills down him! He’s still a grumpy cat, but at least we’re not worried.

Going here was going well until a three year rabies vaccination turned into a cancerous tumor. I wasn't asked if I wanted the three year nor where his usual spot is his gets his shots. See... A couple of your vets here understand just how INJECTION SITE SARCOMAS happen. I hope all of them know now, there shouldnt be such inconsistency. (please pet owners look this up. Majority of the time it's completely avoidable. And helps if your vet is aware of it and all should be. It's not new research. Pets do not survive this aggress... read more

Love the Vet’s and the staff and how our fur kids are treated. The Dr’s our fur kids have seen are very attentive and super friendly. The Staff are super friendly as well and very helpful. I would definitely refer my friends and their fur kids to Liverpool Village Animal Hospital! Thank you Liverpool Village Animal Hospital for taking good care of our fur kids!

My husband and I have been going to Liverpool Village Animal Hospital since 1984. We take the thruway to get there! As long as we are in driving distance, we will only go here!

Stupid expensive. Just to walk in was 50 bucks. 17.50 for her nails to get clipped, and they did not ask me. Never again.

Business response:

Hi Doni, I’m sorry you were dissatisfied with the charges. It is not our intention to perform services without your consent. Please give the office a call at 315-451-5455 and we can discuss crediting you back for the nail trim. We look forward to speaking with you and earning back your business.

I brought my dog in to be fixed. Two surgeries later and he still isn't right. He was a healthy Active and happy dog. Now he can't even walk across the room.

Our 1st experience @ LVAH was unfortunately for the worst possible news regarding our baby, Pumpkin. We never would've made it through that difficult time without the caring support and patient information from Dr. Pinneo and the staff.
