My friends have been in Lostock Lodge since February of this year and I'm a frequent visitor. Despite the fact that owing to the ongoing age factor their health has deteriorated over the months, they are still very happy and comfortable with the standard of care they receive on a daily basis from the team of dedicated, patient, diligent and caring staff who have to be admired for coping at times with many unsavoury moments. My mother has just moved into your home in Lostock. Previous to this, I had an extremely well led guided tour of the home and the lady was very helpful. She went above and beyond to help me with the financing and organising all the paperwork, to make everything easier. The deputy manager that came to assess mum was also very helpful kind and attentive to mum's needs. Extremely efficient staff. They made me feel valued. Thank you.

My relative moved into Lostock around January time. As a family, we are so impressed with the way that my relative has been looked after - from day one. Every one of the staff is caring and kind and also doing a professional job. My relative is always neatly dressed and looks cared for. The manager always knows what is going on in the home and is swift to take action when needed; for instance, contacting the GP quickly when the need arises. From the minute you are met at the door, there is a smile greeting that says lovely to see you. The reception area is lovely, bright and clean, reception staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. My father has never said "I don't want to go" We just wish that he would be able to go as a resident because we know he would be happy (but cost is too high).

Mum has spent six months at Lostock Lodge and has received the best of care from day one. Every member of staff (and I mean everyone) performs above and beyond! It is a pleasure to visit, knowing Mum has the best of care 24/7

Very friendly and helpful staff who have gone over and above our expectations. Extremely patient and attentive to all residents, and nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere within and outside the home is spotlessly clean and well organised. The home is very secure too, which puts our minds at rest. The food too is very good, with a wide variety to offer. All the residents are treated with dignity and respect. On the whole, we couldn't have asked for a better care home for our Uncle to be taken care of.

Ability of dedication plus warm friendship shines through the activities co-ordinator at Lostock. Always understanding the resident's needs for some type of participation, he plays an important daily role and is held in high respect. His knowledge of skills includes help in technical advice on the use of tablet/computer matters. A cheery word and happy smile are his hallmarks. Popular with everyone at Lostock.
