My wife and I have power of attorney for two elderly ladies who have been at Lostock Lodge now for 3 weeks. We have been very pleased with everything so far. The ladies are happy and settled. Communication with the staff is excellent and they have always been most helpful. The atmosphere in the Lodge is relaxing and welcoming. This situation puts my wife’s mind at rest and therefore takes a lot of pressure off me. Thank you.

The home has a great atmosphere, staff are friendly and people are well looked after. My friend went in on respite and has improved significantly since being at Lostock Lodge. The activities, environment and care have really helped.

Since my husband has been at Lostock Lodge I can happily say I have only seen care and professionalism from the staff. It has given me some peace of mind.

After my mother lost her husband of 60 years rather quickly, the shock of the next step in her life alone has been really tough. Lostock Lodge has made that very hard step easier by being a warm, friendly and caring environment. The facility is modern, clean, vibrant and special and the staff are attentive, courteous and hard working. We are all very pleased that Mum has settled. It is a tough time for her grieving, being alone in some ways yet making new friends at the same time. Lostock Lodge are supporting her very well.

My father has been in Lostock Lodge for 4 weeks now after moving from a short-term respite home in his hometown. We had researched several other residential homes in the area. The home had a fresh, light and comfortable feel and has always been our first choice. My dad moved into Lostock Lodge care home at the end of August 2018. The staff could not have been more helpful with the transition, he was made to feel part of the 'big family' straight away and he is now happy and settled in his new home. The care and the food are very good and I would have no problem recommending this care home.

My Dad has been a resident at Lostock Lodge since January 2017, and refers to it as “Home, Sweet Home”. Sadly, my Dad’s health has deteriorated over the past few months, and after a recent stay in hospital, the amazing management and wonderful staff have gone above and beyond to help keep Dad at Lostock, working closely with the family to help support Dad’s changing needs. Lostock Lodge Care Home is a purpose-built care home, bright, airy, with comfortable lounges and space to move around with zimmer frames and wheelchairs etc. I have been here seven weeks to accompany my stroke-disabled wife. My own care requirements are not very demanding, but my wife needs 24hr care and also has dietary requirements. The staff are all very kind and caring in their different ways and there is a lovely, warm atmosphere.

I am very impressed with all aspects of the care home, its staff & facilities. I have been researching care homes for the last 12 months and this is by far the best. I am now very happy now I have moved in.
