My wife, Ann, had an appointment with Louisiana Eye and Laser Center (Leesville) to get her eyes checked for contacts. She was then told to come back to pick up the contacts--which she paid for. Louisiana Eye and Laser then told her that her eyes were too dry to receive contacts. There was no cooperation on their part to solve this issue. So she went back the fourth time to pick up the contacts and y'all told her that y'all threw the contacts away, she requested a refund to be issued, however they denied her. Later she calle... read more

Went to get new contacts and glasses, and It took over two hours. As the eye Dr would ask me to read the letters on the wall, I would read them as I saw them while struggling to see. He would get aggravated that I was saying the wrong letter and kept telling me that I can’t see those letters for some reason and kept correcting me and telling me what all the letters are instead of making sure that I could see them myself. I kept telling him it’s because I can’t see! He still wrote me a prescription for the strength that I cou... read more

Please be aware when you use this facility and you go in for a routine eye exam and you have insurance that covers your eye exam if they find any problems with your eyes it will be billed to your medical insurance and will go towards your deductible if you have not met your deductible you will get a bill in full. This should be stated to every individual entering the facility. I was never told that I had any medical problems with my eye until after I received a bill. I’m sure this is happened to many more individuals makin... read more

I love Dr Walters, but the wait times have gotten absolutely ridiculous. I do not want to spend my entire day off in the doctors office. This will be my last visit.

I never get an answer when I call, if I leave a message, it takes at least 3 days for someone to call me back. The wrong prescription was ordered for my contacts and I have been trying for a week to get someone to either call me back or answer the phone so I can get it corrected. The ONLY time I had decent service was in person picking up glasses. Your phone service just plain sucks.

They always come out of the blue with some extra test that needs to be done to charge extra money. It Seems like an ordeal every time my husband goes to get glasses, just because he has glaucoma. I have my husband on my insurance, but they can't explain an issue on the bill with me, with out my husband's Permission. Go figure!

Had a 7:50am appointment, took them almost thirty minutes to see me. Having to wait for them to take pictures of my eye for cataract surgery and now waiting to see a scheduler for the surgery. Which will probably take a while. Spending over two hours at the eye doctors office, is entirely to long. Process needs to be streamlined.

Business response:

We sincerely apologixe for your experience with the wait. We are diligently working to remedy this issue and value all of our patients .
