I had been going to another vet for my 2 cats for a few years but had moved a little more south and wanted the drive to be nice and short as my cats do not like a commute. I was hesitant to try a new place even though it was closer, but from my initial call to set up the appointment to the visit, the staff and the vet were amazing! Love Pet Hospital may be on the small side but every single member of the staff I encountered was incredibly friendly and patient with my rambunctious large dogs! They all gave them tons of treats (every person asked permission, don't worry) to make them happy and comfortable. They explained everything to the best of their knowledge and referred me to websites where I could do my own research as well. I take my senior pup to Love Pet Hospital for chiropractic work with Dr. Huckabee. Buddy has arthritis and sometimes has trouble getting up. Chiro absolutely helps him. He is so much friskier and peppier after a chiro visit! If you don't book in advance it can be hard to get in. Visits are quick - they always run on time and the chiro appointments are fairly quick.

This clinic was bought from Dr. Love by Dr. Wisbrock. The clinic isn't really expensive but also not cheap, but they are special. Dr. Wisbrock is both a regular AND holistic vet and it's the best place to bring a beloved family member. If you truly cherish your pet, this is the vet to go to. Dr. Wisbrock will listen carefully, brainstorm and come up with a balanced western and eastern medicine approach. After adopting a new puppy from the shelter, I read reviews of several close-by veterinarians to get her started with. I ultimately decided to choose Love Pet, based on their willingness and reputation of doing more holistic type treatments when possible. I like that. Our first appointment was with Dr. Huckabee. I wish we would have found Love Pet sooner. We got a second opinion from them about our furbaby, which turned out to be worst case scenario. Our previous vet said he was healthy, when in reality, he was far from it. Love Pet vets and techs took such good care of us when we had to put our sweet boy down. Our old lady boxer and newly adopted boxer will be going to Love Pet from now on. We recently had another incident where our pup got into some ibuprofen! We have been taking our 9 pets (4 dogs, 3 cats and 2 rats) to Love Pet Hospital for the last 3 years. They have a great holistic approach to vet care. Their prices are reasonable. The office staff is really nice and always caring. Sometimes, their schedule gets a little wonky and it takes a little longer than expected, but we have patience because they are always willing to take the time to answer all of our questions. Wow. They helped me turn my dog's nail condition around by listening to his history and current food intake and evaluating what food was best and supplements needed. The holistic doctors are amazing and the traditional ones are as well. So caring and patient and spend quality time with you and the pet. My dog's nails have greatly improved and they didn't try to sell me stuff or push products. I'm thrilled I listened to many friends' advice and went here.

We have been going here for a year now and I have loved it. We have seen several doctors and they were great. They go out of their way to make my nervous pup feel at ease, even getting on the floor with her to make her feel more comfortable. They are always professional and I never have to wait long. The staff is also very kind and great with my animals. I have had nothing but good experiences with them.
