the food was horrible. It tasted like a frozen food microwaved. They got my order completely wrong even though I told them several times and clarified. In less than five minutes they had the correct order out.
VERY POOR SERVICE AND FOOD WAS ONLY PASSABLE.
Not sure what happened but the service was horrendous on this visit! Our waiter was terrible and very inattentive! He even whisked away my 2/3 full plate and stacked another plate on top without considering that I had intended to take the majority of my $30current meal home with me! Unbelievable! I should have complained then and there butdidnt want to create a scene in front of Sarah Lutero, one if ny favorite news anchors! Disappointing and what a waste!
Tasteless chicken parmesan and incredibly over-salted risotto (enough to put an old person into heart failure). Friendly service, bad food.
We enjoyed the service and food but have one disappointment. We were celebrating a friend's 50th anniversary and noted it with Open Table reservation. We also mentioned it to the staff and nothing special was done. Not a candle, a sweet...nothing. I was very sorry there was no special amenity.
We were two for dinner.They served the appetizers one at a time with a long time span in between. Some of the bread served was stale. The food in general was very good. The restaurant that night was not busy. The service should have been excelent,instead it was very poor, and makes you wonder about their efficency when is fully booked. My partner ravioli dinner was a total of 7 small pieces and were kind of lost on the quite large oval platte.
I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant previously and decided to return for a second visit. I was not enthused by my second visit. The food had an after taste which was surprising. I do not intend to return.
We went in really wanting to like this restaurant. The ambiance is very nice - live music on weekends, an open and airy space with tables spaced widely enough that you are not forced to hear the conversations of other guests, an extensive wine list. Our main courses, sea bass and butternut squash ravioli, were both disappointing. The sea bass, which was a feature that night, was edible, but unremarkable and the edges had a 'fishy' taste. My food was extremely salty and not the quality that I expected after reading other reviews. My husband did not like the Lasagne at all! Will not be returning. Should have taken a hint, we were the only ones in the dining room. The bar had customers.
