This was not a good experience. Ordered a cocktail and soda. Hostess came by after awhile, asking if the drink she had was mine, without the soda. We had to ask two more times to get the soda. My Old Fashioned had no garnish in it. I saw another table with a similar looking drink and when I asked what they ordered, I was told it was also an Old Fashioned. Then our meal. Not really sure what to say. The bar was a disaster, the service was so bad and slow and the bartenders just weren't nice. The food was mediocre, won't be back!

The welcome was a good start to an otherwise uninspired experience. The service was very slow and the wait staff needed to be reminded of orders, Additionally, the bar incorrectly prepared the drinks. That was just the beginning. Once food arrived, the sequence of service was rushed, plates and glasses were attempted to be cleared while people were still eating etc etc. Finally, a management person came to the rescue of several servers who were either inexperienced or overworked. Drink order was taken right away- but waited almost 20 minutes to get it. Bloody Mary mix was rancid. Waitress took it back- said the manger would delete it from the bill. (It was still there when check came) Everything we ordered- apps, salad, soups and entree came out at once. Chowder was less than lukewarm and had to ask three times for a spoon. Our waiter greeted us and immediately stated that our server decided to go on break so he would be helping us. Never should have been said. We were having a moment at the table where 3 out of the 4 women were having an emotional moment and crying happy tears and he interrupted the moment to clear the table as LOUDLY as humanly possible. If the restaurant was busy, I could understand having to politely interrupt us, but this man couldn't read a room to save his life. We went for my partners birthday; he loves the pancakes. Apparently, they were short staffed at the time. Our experience definitely suffered because of that. The server was so busy that the did not even acknowledge my partners birthday. Bummer. Probably won't bother eating there again. Take out only.

Food was beautiful but what let service down was placing dirty butter knife on table for us to use for entree. 😱
