I'm not thrilled with the service I received. The color looks good, but the colorist missed several hairs right in the front. When I pointed them out (as I was checking out), she said they were in the front so it was hard to do them. I told her that she was the professional and should've known how to "capture" and color them. My appointment also started more than 15 minutes late, because she was still at lunch. During Covid, I subscribed to Madison Reed and colored my own hair at the recommendation of my Beverly Hills stylist. I was a super satisfied customer. So when I discovered Madison Reed had opened a color bar at Topanga, I just had to give it a try. This is my goto place for unlisted roots. Love it when I add on the gloss service. Really makes my color pop. They also give you the option to dry your own hair for free or upgrade to a blowout. Took off one star because they recently increased the monthly subscription. I think they should've kept the rates for their loyal clients like me and just increased for the new clients.

I have been going to Madison Reed on Topanga since June 2022 when i signed up as a member. All in all it's been a good experience. I go every 2 weeks to get my greys taken care of and everyone is very nice and welcoming. They always offer you water, coffee or tea and is a nice atmosphere. What I like about Madison Reed on Topanga opposed to the Studio City location is the parking. You need to go see Jennifer! She did an amazing job mixing the perfect color to match my natural hair color. I came in for the roots and overall color, blow dry and a treatment. This is the best dye job I've ever had compared to high end salons I have gone to in the past who charge double. Awesome 1st experience with Jennifer. She explained each products she applied on my hair. She asked me what I expected after. I highly recommend her at this salon. She not just has 40 + experience as a stylist but really cares about her clients. I would definitely return back to her. She is amazing !
