The color looks amazing! It was so easy breezy... compared to the whole henna indigo ritual. I hope its safe in the long run. Time will tell. The color did give bit of tingling sensation while waiting but i hope the company will not add parabens to mask it ( after such reviews) !! I will color with Madison Reed again for sure till i see health issues( hope not). The staff at the salon was amazing! Thank you!!

I was superexcited to change up my hair, and walked by Madison Reed in the village, set up an appointment and I'm so thrilled! Although I didn't get the hair color I originally wanted, Bre was honest and told me that it wouldn't lift since my hair was already so dark. We proceeded with a hair treatment which left my hair feeling smooth, untangled, and like a fresh cut! Their customer service is absolutely outstanding! Only open for a month, I predict this place is going to be swamped when things open up! I tried Madison Reed products during the pandemic. No harmful chemicals...this product did right by my hair! I cannot tell you how excited it was to know that a color bar was open by the same company! I was able to get a same day appointment and it was not crowded, staff wearing masks as well as the 1 other customer in the place. Bree did a wonderful job on my roots. I've been to high end salons, mid range salons and everything in between. When Covid hit I decided to do my color myself and have been using Madison Reed ever since. DO NOT COME HERE HAIR FELL OUT DURING ROOT TOUCHUP Genuinely the worst hair care experience of my life. My hair is gummy and falling out, and my scalp is burning, from a blonde root touchup. As you can see this place has 27 one star reviews, with many being situations where, like me, people either got their hair ruined. Bought a $37 demi-permanent hair dye and the dye was missing from the box when I opened it at home. So frustrating, especially with an upcoming event. Huge waste of time and money. Won't be purchasing from here again

I went in for a brunette balayage and came back with orange hair! I told the stylist the color looked too orangish, and instead of bleaching again she just put a darker toner on. Fast forward two weeks, the toner has washed out and I'm left with orange hair, and I paid nearly $300 for this service!

I decided to choose this place because of their good photos, reviews on yelp. I asked for a highlights and this is the result. The highlights looking horrendous. Beyond disappointed of their unprofessionalism. Never come back again.

My First time at this place. I was a walk-in and they took me in. the girl who helped me was very nice and so was the colorist but overall the work is very mediocre and less than average. I paid good money and was supposed to get treatment, massage and boost, etc. But I don't think I even got conditioner!!! The colorist told me they will massage my hair and put other products and a whole 9 yard, but my whole wash and supposed treatments took less than five minutes not to mention that water and color was splashing everywhere... read more
