I had a great experience here getting my hair colored. Hallie took really good care of me throughout the entire appointment. I chose to get an all over dye, which I would definitely recommend for anyone who needs to cover grays or would like a refresh on their current hair color. They have different processes for keeping your current color updated with a glaze and a root dye if you were to come back in. I love the idea of this salon as a place where you can get a quick color and blow dry and then be on your way. In practice, my appointment took longer than I'd anticipated. I arrived early but still had to wait 30 mins to receive my consultation, although the place wasn't terribly busy. The salon had a separate colorist, a person who washes clients' hair, and a stylist, and while they were all lovely ladies, I agree with another reviewer that my blow dry was a little flat. Located right in the center of Cherry Creek. In covid times, metered street parking was not bad for an evening visit. Masks required, temperature checked and hand sanitizing required at check in. Scheduling on their website is easy, as was rescheduling by phone. They send you email and text reminders for your appointment, pretty standard these days. This was an easy event for me. Online scheduling was a breeze. Finding parking today- not bad. Clean, well lit place. Specializing in color only. Awesome! I saw an unbelievable deal! For $55/month, you can get an unlimited number of root colors and more. I spent a total of two hours with them. Covid aware environment. Unhurried. Unrushed two hours. The team at Madison Reed had me feeling pampered, glamorous, and walking out with new confidence. Let's be honest- 2020 was a "little" stressful; I mean, I can't imagine why I had so many gray hairs! I got my color done today and it turned out fantastic. The technicians were super friendly and answered all my questions about the products and how to apply at home. However with this level of service, I'm doubtful I'll bother doing it myself and I will be back to pamper myself!!

I was very excited to see that Madison Reed has a color bar close to where I live. I have been very happy with my on-line subscription, but will now get all my products and services at the local Cherry Creek shop. I won a free root color service that was perfect. The technician was knowledgeable and put a new color on that I love. Everyone was friendly and professional. My hair looks great. I will recommend this salon to my friends.

I was doing quite well actually, until I was handed off to the girl who "shampoos" and does the "blowout". I notified them that I had extensions twice prior to the appointment,, nonetheless girl #2 was not happy about it. She made that clear when she was done by making a face that her co-stylist pointed out by saying "look at your face" I get it, but I would wait until the client leaves at least. she almost ripped my necklace off during the blowout, and when I asked if she wanted me to remove it she said, "that's up to you" ... read more

Parking is a NIGHTMARE but it's Cherry Creek so it's pretty much expected. I was lucky enough to score meter street parking which happens to be free on Sundays I was greeted and seated immediately at the color bar and offered a beverage (coffee, tea or water)....sorry Ladies no mimosas here. I am very disappointed I left with COLOR in and on my ears with added lamb chops that I did not arrive with. The Colorist seemed very timid on top of RUSHED.
