This was my first trip to any Madison Reed color bar although, I'm no stranger to coloring my hair. I've been going to salons and doing my own work for almost 35 years. I had just gotten balayage done a few months prior to leaving Milwaukee to relocate here. I would not go back, I honestly think the box of hair color from the grocery store or Walmart is better. My hair was so dry and brittle after getting my hair colored at Madison Reed. Everything is an upsell and not great products to begin with. The staff were very nice but not well trained. Definitely not worth the time or $.

Went in for an appointment after calling many times and I was told they were unable to see me since they don't do blonde. Why tell me over the phone that you able to do a service when ur unable to. Making me make a unneeded commute

Ok I am incredibly upset with my service today. I went in at 12:00 p.m. for my full color appointment I told my hair colorist Natasha I wanted a balayage of light blond tips medium blond middle and a chocolate brown root. As she set my foil I knew things were going down hill. Not only did she set my foil wrong she decided to leave in the middle of my appointment and give me to ANOTHER HAIR COLORIST while she took a class. Jadee was very pleasant, but did not listen at all to what I wanted. It was a simple root touchup with highlights. The the color she recommended was much too dark bc I had used it before. She said that's not the case... she stated I had applied it wrong and that with highlights it will be lighter.. OK so I'm a physician and not stupid, I didn't apply it wrong I didn't want to embarrass her, I can read instructions it's not rocket science. So I gave her the benefit of a doubt with her expertise. I was so excited the first time I went in. I had ruined my hair coloring at home so I decided it was time to let the professionals do it! I realize that it was really difficult at first because of what I'd done to my hair and I wanted white hair. They did a beautiful job. At first it was Ashe and I actually LOVED it, and after a day or so it was white, which I also liked, and initially wanted. But after seeing the Ashe I decided that was my color. Update on the bad review I left 18 days ago: I would give them minus 5 stars if I could... I was scheduled for a color correction last Sunday. When I arrived they told me Cherry Creek didn't have the products I needed to correct my highlights and that they would need to book the appointment for a different day... ... Couldn't they have seen that in the system and reschedule before making me go there in person? I asked if they could at least retouch my roots that day. H E L L O BEAUTIFUL! What a wonderful salon that makes you feel your most beautiful self! The staff was friendly, professional, kind, fun and skilled at their work! The salon itself is bright, clean and welcoming.
