I had an appointment for an all over color with balayage and face framing highlights. When I went in, Yesenia said that doing highlights would achieve the look I'm looking for, which is to go lighter than my virgin hair color. So I went with her suggestion and went home with brassy highlights to which she knew was pretty bad and suggested that if I didn't like them when I went home and to try it out for a day that i can return to get it fixed given that it was already late in the evening to get it fixed right then and there.... read more

I was happy the first couple of years with the color, I was always using the same color just for roots touchup; however, after 1.5 years I experienced hair loss exactly where I was getting my retouch. I have a lot of hair, I was being charged double, and now I can see my bald sports, I'm using all kinds of hair growth treatments, but it is taking forever... don't use them, it doesn't worth your money or the hair loss. Hear me out- I decided to color my hair before the holidays at a salon as a way to make sure that my color looked nice. Also I noticed that you can either style your own hair, or pay extra to have a stylist do it for you. I thought I would pay a little extra for the stylist to blow dry my hair (I usually let my hair air dry). My daughter went here yesterday and i had originally wanted her to go to my salon I've been with for over 15 years. She wanted to save me money and told me she had a friend that had gone here to get some baby lights and they did a pretty good job. The price was very affordable so I thought why not. I browsed through the few Yelp reviews and I know the salon is new to the mall and noticed all the photos were mostly uploaded by the owner. First off they didn't not cover all of my hair, I wanted blue black and my hair is naturally brown so I could still see bits and pieces of brown hair still. They fixed it by redying my hair. Keep in mind my hair appointment was at 10am. Then they curled my hair and the curling iron burned off the blue black color and my brown hair appeared so they had to redye my hair again.
