Terrible experience. First I showed up to my appointment at 6:00pm last week on Thursday for root touch up.. Instead they covered all my hair erasing the highlights they did on October 4. 2025. Also I showed up on time and I asked to go to the bathroom and she told me that no the she had to leave and I had to wait for to started and I could go to the bathroom. They are terrible.... Staff told me color I picked was too light for home kit, so hot lighter shade. Big mistake, color wasn't right after I applied the color kit at home. They also screwed up the timing of a service I had scheduled for an in store appointment so I totally wasted my time going into get the service because 'they may not have the time.' No regard for my time or schedule i rearranged for that day to have the appointment. Save yourself the hassle and bad hair color and go somewhere else. I'd give it a negative 1... read more

Pro member is a scam/ joke, I am a pro member with unlimited roots touch up service. I am going on vacation to Europe and will be back in 3 weeks or more. I asked if I can take a home kit so I can do it while being on vacation. I was told I can't. because it has to be in the next billing cycle. So basically I can go for roots every week but cant get a home kit in 3 weeks???? What kind of stupidity is that??? The staff is not able to explain because it doesnt make any sense. This company is a farud as per me.

Worst hair salon ever. Went for a hair coloring, first red flag-place was empty... on a Monday... second, three employees yet only one doing hair and also happened to be the receptionist as well. Couldn't speak any English, had me take my hair out (I have kinky curly hair that was in BRAIDS) then had me get up to pick out a color when I included the color in my appointment notes... all this for her to then tell me that she wouldn't be able to do my hair that it was only a consultation but said nothing about it being a consul... read more

I booked my appointment two weeks ago and they canceled days before, luckily i got in for another appointment being on the waitlist that they again canceled after i had shown up and told the stylist what i wanted and she didn't feel comfortable doing. I would HIGHLY not recommend going here especially before an event

Ruined my hair. I have happily used MR at home and wanted to try the color bar. I explained that i did not want a brassy red tone. The colorist used a different toner than we discussed and therefore acheived the exact opposite of what I wanted (no brassy tones but she used a warm honey tomer after telling me she would use ash.) They did not have time for the promised complimentary color correction session and instead billed me $24 for a hair mask. Best of all, they suggested that I go to a real salon to fix it. Madison Reed cancelled a hair appointment made months ago two hours beforehand due to an issue they knew about last week. The way they treat their customers is incredibly unprofessional. If they cancelled on me, they can cancel on you, too, so make sure you aren't relying on them (like I was) to do your hair right before a big event.

HORRIBLE ~ I wish I had read previous review as I concur with VERY juvenile, uncaring & shockingly inexperienced customer service. As usual only one customer was there drying their hair. When I entered and sat in a chair by the register. When a staff did come up to me, I was greeted with being asked to leave. I was told that despite my getting there @ 4:39 - waiting for someone to come & greet me, I was told there was a ten-minute late policy, so I needed to leave. On my initial visit, my colorist never applied anything to help keep the dye from seeping into my skin... the color was nice, but I wasn't happy. I was so annoyed and frustrated trying to get the dye off of my face that I didn't even bother drying my hair- it was winter. At the register, the colorist didn't seem to notice and just smiled and thanked me. Today was my second visit to just get my roots done.
