I don't know why people gave bad reviews. Granted, my appointment was on a Monday morning at 11 am, so they weren't very busy. I was greeted by a lovely and friendly colorist. She offered me water or tea and I accepted the latter. She took a before photo of the back of my hair and another person took an after. I wanted my hair to be darker than yesterday's brown with copper undertones. I might return to get highlights in May. Madison reed hair color bar is fantastic. I started using their products during Covid since no salons were open. After things were opened up again I found the color bar in Skokie Illinois. Very close to where I live. They do a fantastic job in every respect. The color is beyond perfect. My blowdry was very professional and exactly what I asked for. Britney did my blowout she was fantastic, I felt as if I could walk the red carpet, Karina did my color she was all so great, personable and color was perfect.

I had my roots done, highlights and a blowout. Excellent colorist and stylist. If you are lucky you will get Brittany at the Skokie store! She was amazing. All of the colorists are great there. I highly recommend!

Went in today for a toner, had highlights done a month ago by a different place but they liked less like highlights and more like all over color in a horrible brassy color. I was fortunate to have Adriana as my color stylist she went above and beyond to make sure the color came out as I envisioned. Madison Reed you've got a gem! She was so easy to talk to and was multitasking taking care of 3 clients all together.

I have had my hair colored at least 3 times at this salon, and every time I have enjoyed the experience. My hair looks great, and the gray coverage really works! I love the product. No bad smells, no chemicals or allergies and my hair feels soft, and looks very healthy. I find the women who work at this salon to be especially friendly, professional, and hard working. They clearly strive to do their best and are invested in their work! I highly recommend Madison Reed and this particular salon at Old Orchard in Skokie.

For someone who is pre-maturely gray and has very fast growing hair, this salon has been a game changer. The colorists, Chaz, Adriana and Rachel are all super professional and knowledgeable and really care about their clients. It is a super clean and beautiful salon. The color is very gentle on your scalp and hair. Highly recommended! Great location and ample parking.
