Visited the color bar a week ago to have my roots dyed and Espresso gloss applied to the rest of my hair. This was my first time using MR products. Some of my colleagues had tried it during COVID times so I thought I'd try it as an alternative, as I couldn't get in to my usual salon in time for an important event this weekend. I started using Madison Reed last year and LOVE the product!!! Gorgeous colors, at home balayage, but I really needed an all over root touch up. I read the reviews and was a bit skeptical, but was greeted, brought hot tea while I waited (didn't catch her name but really sweet) and Grupa was amazing. Went here for second time to have my hair colored and blew out with Travis he is amazing better every time I go to him for appointments this time added low lites also. They have a great unlimited roots color deal you pay monthly and gives great discounts on products and add on services as well thanks Travis for doing such a fantastic job every time!

TLDR: I'm satisfied with my color and the condition of my hair, and I plan to return. My hair was 3" roots of ash brown and 6" of solidly highlighted (two-process) blonde hair. I wanted a deep golden blonde, no ash, minimal red if possible. Erica advised me that Sicily Golden Blonde was likely to be too red, so she recommended Tivoli Neutral Blonde with a shot of "Ice" to counteract my hair's tendency to turn red when I lighten it. It's the perfect place for helping me with my roots! I have auto ship with Madison reed but I need help to retouch my roots! It keeps getting harder doing it alone! I have tons of grays and can't reach the back by myself! Going to seeing a hair salon every 2-3 weeks would wipe out my bank account! This salon does the job! I spent a wonderful afternoon at the Madison Reed Color Bar in Sunnyvale. I started using Madison Reed products when COVID hit and got used to coloring my own hair. I received an invitation to try out the color bar and was wary due to the negative reviews. Regardless, I made an appointment online. I have been a client at Madison Reed for nearly 5 years and their phone service Sucks‼. Get rid of the AI attendant - it just talks over you - and Does NOT allow you to speak with someone at the location you want! Instead you get some foreign or in another location. I lost a ring (with sentimental value) and called several times and NO ONE RETURNED MY CALL! I am so ANGRY AND FRUSTRATED by their EXTREMELY POOR Customer Service. To date, I still have not received a call back!

Had my roots done at 5:30pm today and I was told there was no hot water available since all four wash basin's can't handle hot water at the same time. The tone-deaf lady offered no solutions just kept washing my hair with freezing cold water until I told her to stop. I left with soaking wet hair that still had shampoo in there, in this cold weather. She mustered up a weak "sorry".
