The entire process seemed to be disorganized and confusing. There was a lack of communication that left us wondering if what was required, with multiple questions regarding finances that seemed to go backwards. We were even left in the dark as to whether we had actually purchased the home as no one emailed or called to confirm that our down payment was received and processed. We're not sure who was responsible for what, but no one except Mary Rhodes seemed to know what they were doing.

Communication within the last 2-3 weeks seemed to be very reactive not proactive. The closing process doesn’t change, giving the client a heads up knowing that certain documents/decisions will need to be made. 70+ days from when security deposit placed to actual closing isn’t doing the client any favors.

I was asked to submit the same document multiple times. There was lack of communication with respect to my closing date changing and I only found out about it because I asked if we were on-track for a closing that was already scheduled for 2 days away. Turned out we were NOT on track, and this had not been communicated to me.

The worst experience I have ever had. Helen in particular didn't follow up with many things and I had to send documents several times and in fact asked me to send the documents in one email so she could stay organized. She also sent me several messages that she "forgot" to ask me for documents. She told me she couldnt get info from your third party and I had to do the work for her. The day of closing there were still underwriting issues and at the closing table your job still wasn't done.

OUR 7TH MTG WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! LOUSY communication by Mary, we were blamed for delays- we responded from immediately up to a 2-3 hours. Helen would acknowledge she received item but take a day to say that's not what she needed, we provided new info to only have that exact scenario play out again. Provided insurance agent contact & no escrow but team shopped for insurance for wk & set as escrow DIDNT TELL EITHER SIDE OF SALE DELAYED UP TO TIME OF CLOSING WE ALL WERE AT ALREADY!

I'd like to start by saying that Colleen Weatherbee is phenomenal. She was the only person that was routinely available, in touch, and wonderful to work with. Had it not been for her, we would have stopped all transactions and gone to another company. That being said, Mary was difficult to contact. She did not call with information when she said she would. Sometimes we would have to have our Agent contact her to get on touch with us because we couldn't get in touch with her. Wouldn't recommend.

Mary did not get us a good rate until we pushed for it. Our closing pushed out a month due to construction. We were not informed that our rate lock had expired until 3 weeks afterwards or 10 days prior to scheduled close. Rates had gone up and we not only got a higher rate but had to pay $1600+ in points. Had Mary informed us that the lock was expiring we would have gotten a much better rate with no points. this is not good service.

NoT enough communication between lender and borrower. The VA appraiser was horrible couldn’t come up with comps delayed our closing for two extra days. Worked with them for six months and a lot of paperwork was done last minute. Had to get corporate to help me.
