Gross negligence, I was told by my property manager that our fire alarm would be fixed in January, and now 2 months later after repeated communication it is still not fixed

They’re still giving in-person tours in units where people are currently living in the units...... DURING COVID, without the tenants consent.... are you kidding me!!!!! My best friend has had nothing but awful experiences. Would not recommend.

Jacob, thank you for expressing concern. However, this statement is a misrepresentation. We only offer in-person unit tours after notifying a tenant (our policy is a minimum of a 24-hr notice). Our tenants also are given the opportunity to opt out of having their unit shown or they can choose to do a video walk through and send it to us. WARNING! This company will try to scam you out of your money. More than 3 months after I moved out and had my security deposit refunded, they sent me a bill for damages I did not make. The new tennant had been living there for at least a month and somehow this company has decided I caused the damages. The accounts payable representative even admitted the move out inspection showed no damages. This company is now sueing me in small claims court! Future tenants should be cautious of fraudulent damage claims.
Stop filing frevelous lawsuits against prior Tennant's. Do disapointed in their bullying tactics to pay for repairs caused by new tennant's or workers cleaning up the apartment. Getting a bill four months after checkout and return of deposit should never happen.
Does anybody ever do any work here? Was told I would be receiving a follow up call for a pretty important issue almost a month and a half ago...haven't. And only 1 out of every 5 times does somebody answer the phone.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This rental company is by far the WORST company to rent from in Harrisonburg. First, they don't ever answer their phones, are hardly ever in their office, and ignore emails for days. It's nearly impossible to get a response from anyone who works there. Second, they don't follow the lease that they are legally obligated to follow.
