My pets have been patients at Mcdowell Mountain Animal Hospital for well over 10 years now and have always received exceptional care. They doctors, technicians and everyone in the practice have been there for us through good times and bad with numerous cats and dogs and have shown tremendous professionalism and empathy along the way. This is probably my favorite review I will write. Which is odd given the circumstances. I live in Chicago and this experience with the vet was relayed to me by my mom. Our home was ruled by our beloved princess tabby cat Nala for 19 years. Sadly we had to put her down in mid November. The vet was wonderful, professional and friendly and respectful service. This clinic is incredible, I can not recommend it highly enough. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, it is always clean, timely, and quiet, Dr. Channing is an amazing vet, and the prices are very typical of what you'd expect but the quality of service is incredible. Today was made a great experience. Brought all 3 of my pups in for their check ups, shots, nail trimmings & one needed her ears cleaned. Dr. Channing was beyond personable, nice & very informational, giving me weight plans for my 2 pugs. She's a pug lover herself so I was happy to see she knew the breed very well. Best Vet I have ever used. It was pretty clear to me, back in September 2015 when I first walked into the MMAH office, that this was a very caring and kind staff. Doctor Casey was all that and more. I had an old Pug who had several issues including blindness and partial deafness. He then tore one, if not both, his ACLs and had trouble standing. Amazing experience!! I felt welcomed from the moment I walked through the door. The doctor was so friendly and helpful, and all of the ladies at the clinic were so kind and friendly to me and my dog.
