Penny double talked me into thinking I had a free contract and then she turned around and said oh no I mean next year?!?! She also said no one gets free contracts - and checked my records and said - oh you usually do!!!!
Pricing discussions were spotty
I have a contract not to go abover a certain price. (Capped). The oil was a dollar less per gallon than the contract and the company did not honor the lower selling price. At the current moment, the oil price is $1.50 less a gallon then my capped price. I will await to see what I am charged next delivery as it is compared to now and when I get my next delivery.

I usually don’t review companies but I had the absolute worst experience ever and really needed to share. My husband and I were first time home owners and recently had a newborn when we realized our oil heat wasn’t working. We had a service contract with meenan and was informed it was unable to be fixed so we were referred to their sales department who sold us 5 mini splits for Heat and AC. My experience with Meenan has been terrific for the past 4 years until this week. My furnace died this past Monday1/1/21 at 12 noon, during the blizzard. I have a forced air system with central air system mounted on top of the furnace and a full house humidifier for the forced air heat. Your installer's arrived wednesday morning to install a new furnace. they completed the job around 4:30 pm. before they left I asked what the smell was in the house, coming from the vents. the installer told me it was an oil burning off... read more
Hot water was not working. Called for an appointment, waited all day for someone to come. Employee came at 4 PM and drained our line. Waited 3 hours and still no hot water. Called again at 7PM and was told that we had to wait until the next day for someone to come. This is totally unacceptable, had to stress that We needed service tonight. We were put on the list for that night with no idea of what time the technician will come. Again unacceptable. Fine -oil ran out. I told operator I had no oil and she said I did. Serviceman came and said I was out of oil. Computer was wrong- it said I had oil.
On 1/18/2019 I signed a heating oil delivery agreement for the period 1/18/2019 through 1/31/2020. On 10/4/2019, I notified Meenan via email to terminate the agreement at the end of the current pricing period with the exact message "Please terminate my oil delivery agreement as of 1/31/2020, the end of the current pricing period". The agreement states that an early termination fee applies if the contract is terminated prior to the end of the current pricing period, 1/31/2020.
