The deposit rates are better than most banks and the staff are wonderful to work with. I have visited the Newton branch on Watertown Street several times and the tellers are thorough and a pleasure to do business with.

Their the only Credit union that I trust you to do how hard they work to ensure that you get the best Service that they can give you.
Pros: -friendly people -refund on all ATM fees Cons: -drive thru teller is wayyyyyy too slow, no matter how many workers present, they move TOOO slow and rarely do they greet you -no temporary bank card if you lose your debit card -minimal locations if you do need a teller -mobile app/online service is glitchy Personal experience: lost debit card and called the bank's 800 number to cancel and get a new 1. I recently opened an account here, and so far I'm happy with the place. There's quite a good interest rate on the My Rewards Checking, and when I called to notify them that they hadn't ordered checks for me when I opened the account, 250 free checks arrived at my house within the week.
I recently switched over from DCU. So far, I'm impressed. Good selection of services, decent online (actually identical to DCU) and great customer services. I do wish they had a branch in Cambridge, but you can't have everything. Comm Ave is convenient enough.
