The feeling of comfort away from home I would definitely stay here again close to everything you need the shopping stores, restaurants and south beach of course ! The staff was very helpful and the front desk (I think his name was Will ) helped me out a lot very professional, down to earth and friendly.

Return visit This was the second time we stayed at the Metropole. Was not as impressed as we were the first time. Our refrigerator leaked the first day or so and we had to call again to have someone come look at it. When he arrived, did not speak English and we could not understand what he was saying. Finally, the frig was replaced. Also there was no bedside light in the bedroom which would have been nice. No place to hang washclothes in the bathroom. Hotel doesn't have bath cloths. I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't have that item. Also the air could be alot cooler. The hotel is in a very good location to the beach, shopping and restaurants.

The only complaint that I have is that the room could have been a little cleaner and the shower in the bathroom didn't have a door or a curtain so water got all over the bathroom floor

Terrible !!!! Got to hotel . Too dark . In check in area. Lounge furniture outside looked dirty and area looked nasty, I went to look at room and open the curtains . Bam a brick wall , open other side to construction . I went down , checked out and went down to the Catalina . It was my first time in Miami and my 50 th Birthday. The manager tried to help acomadate us, by offering us to send our reservation down to the Catilina, at no charge up, but when we got down to the Catalina, that manager wanted to up charge us $200 dol... read more
