good location. Waitress was accommodating and friendly. Food was very good and fresh. nice ambiance.
Awesome food awesome drinks awesome service always
We come here often and unfortunately this time it missed the mark. To many tables for 2 waiters to handle especially since ours had more then 1/2. So service was lacking including refills on water, drinks took forever. Very disappointed especially since we come her very frequently.
My salad with skirt steak was delicious - steak was tender and tasty. Salad with shrimp just as good. Highly recommend both.
We ate outside and had a wonderful time with delicious food and excellent service. I had the crab cake dinner, it was flavorful and delicious. He had the steak dinner cooked to perfection. Victoria our waitress was excellent as usual, very attentive and friendly.
I had an outstanding experience at Metro! I was very pleased with the prompt service, attention to details and the ambiance of the restaurant. Metro is definitely a cut above the rest of the places available to dine on Freehold's main strip. Their menu offers a wide variety of choices, and they have great drink selections as well! Filet mignon spring rolls, and the shrimp arugula fettuccini did not disappoint. I'll soon be back! Keep up the great job!
The Metropolitan Cafe is a beautiful restaurant. The setting upstairs is very cozy and romantic. My wife and I went there for our 45th wedding anniversary celebration for an intimate dinner. The wine was superb, the food delicious and the service was first class. I highly recommend this establishment.
Good food, excellent service, nice atmosphere, friendly staff...a very nice place to have dinner.
Food was excellent! But... 1. Menu in house was not the same menu posted on open table - and some items were priced higher on site. Not happy that the steak dish that brought us in was not listed on the menu on site. 2.Woman who seated us seemed a little inconvenienced as we pulled her way from something she was doing - no smile, no welcome greeting. 3.Our server was more attentive as he was a trainer, but that was short lived once the next party was seated.
