Have dined here over twenty times. Food is pretty consistent. Service varies depending on crowd. The bus people are always around but the wait staff gets lost for long periods of time which gets frustrating if you want more drinks etc. The tendency is to not stay for desert after you have waited too long between dishes. Seafood is always good as are the short ribs .

Food lacked flavor or any seasoning. Priced too high for the quality
My wife and I really needed a night out, away for the craziness of a teen filled house. Atmosphere was great, food was awesome, the staff was friendly and I did not feel rushed. 2nd time there and I had the same experience last time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The Metropolitan Cafe is a beautiful restaurant and very romantic and cozy. The food is fantastic and the service is great. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
The Metropolitan is a sure thing if you are look for a fabulous meal and great service. Our last visit was on Valentines day and as always great food and service plus a long stem rose and a small box of handcrafted chocolates for a gift. The only complaint I had was that the seating was very tight, I understand the occasion called for a big turnout. I would have payed more to have the extra space. Even still the experience was great!!!!!!
Had a nice time, food was really good with good portions. They spaced out the service nice so there was no rush. would recommend this place to anyone.
