Always good. We like to mostly go for the great apps and drinks.
Cool hip decor and plenty of menu options!! Prices were higher than expected but food was great- even the sushi
It's always delicious here. Been twice in 2 months. Sushi is great; drinks are great- never had a bad meal. Service was EXCELLENT!

Wonderful local eatery. I call it fine dining with a twist. The twist, being, very interesting dishes. They serve a wonderful bread basket with a variety of butters. Our waiter, Jason, was so attentive without being a pest.
We returned to the Metropolitan Cafe for a second time after trying it out for Sunday brunch. We sat upstairs this time. Our waiter, John, was professional, friendly and non obtrusive. The busboy was attentive and polite. The dumpling appetizer was prepared perfectly, not soggy at all and perfect for sharing. The menu offers such a great variety, it was hard to choose an entree. Always excellent . The upstairs was redone recently and looks amazing and they brought back the Cuban steak that was my favorite item on the menu
Food and service were very good. We will be repeat customers for sure.
Food is ALWAYS good, and the wait staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, but I personally would like to see more vegetarian options. A salad is not a "good" winter dinner, and the Penne Gemelli is repetitive if you eat it every other week.
