My husband and I came here on a whim Saturday night and we are extremely glad we did. The hostess was friendly and found us a table in no time. Once seated our server was attentive and catered to our needs. We got the recommended Calamari and shrimp appetizer which was excellent, followed by the Salmon entree and a couple of sushi rolls. Everything was wonderfully prepared and tasted great! We will be back for sure!

Outstanding restaurant, I have not been to Metropolitan in some time but I'm glad I came back. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, plus the sushi was to die for.

Had dinner there with my family the other night and enjoyed everything from the service to the atmosphere. We all had sushi to start and full entrees following. Would recommend all aspects of this establishment to friends and family and will definitely return myself!

First time back here in awhile . Have to say everything was great . Hostess was very friendly and welcoming . Me and my friend decided to share some apps and dinner . The sushi was fresh and delicious . We also shared their version of a wedge salAd . Server suggested we chop it which made it much easier to share and it was awesome . Been here many times over the years and it neve disappoints! Ordered calamari app excellent and pork loin (wasn't thrilled with the Dijon sauce but the waitress happily took care of it) and shrimp with grits perfect. We had chocolate flourless cake and cappuccino afterwards to compliment a wonderful dining experience.

We've never eaten here before. Made a reservation based on a friends recommendation. That being said, the menu blew us away. Cocktails were not overthought. The appetizer menu was enough to keep me salivating alone. The baked Brie Pop's and filet mug on spring rolls were delicious! Then we enjoyed shrimp & grits and the Cuban steak. Both dishes were amazing! Both dishes were on the large size, so after the apps, we definitely weren't finishing. Leftovers!! We'll be back!

We really enjoy the Metropolitan Cafe. We frequent it often. On the night we went, we didn't realize there would be a DJ and dancing, which would have been fun, if the DJ just toned it down a bit. The room is small and the DJ did not take that into consideration for the patrons that were trying to have a meal and conversation. So, check first to see if there is entertainment, if you are not going for that....otherwise, enjoy, it will not disappoint.

I had not visited this restaurant in over five years. The service and attention to details is superb. The martinis are fabulous!! If it's not on the menu don't be afraid to ask the bartender to make it for you. The crabmeat burger was delicious!!! This was my first time visiting the restaurant for Happy Hour!! If you like a real martini, visit Metropolitan Café!!
