Very nice dining experience all around. Very good food.
We had Valentine's day dinner here and the food and service were excellent. The menu was modified from their typical full menu, but there were plenty of choices available. The food was excellent and well presented. The service was very professional and attentive, which was notable on a busy holiday night.
We love the Met - been there many times.
Greatt food and service but not happy about having to wait nearly 30 minutes for our reserved table.
The people at the large table next to us were very loud.
To wrap up our experience I would say it was good leaning to very good - but nothing stood out as outstanding from service to food. I have not been to the Metropolitan Cafe in a few years but my overall impression after this most recent dining experience was less impressive than former visits. Maybe an off night - it was near the holidays with booked holiday parties in house.
Food, booze and service were all top notch Awesome! will definitely go back soon!
We had an excellent holiday get together dinner at this restaurant. The filet is excellent. Our food service was a good experience, but the bus staff rushed clearing of the plates between appetizer and following entree. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant for any individual looking for a quality meal in the Monmouth/Ocean County area.
The entire evening was impeccable. Y husband had the NY strip and I had the pinwheel scallops. Delicious.
