Great Printer, I like it! I do like the printer. The color is not as good as my Brother Color Laser Printer. It is a bit flat and dull but my laser doesn't print and scan 11x17 and that is why I bought this printer and that works very well and it is quite peppy. It zips out prints faster than any inkjet I have worked with. It churns for a few seconds and then squirts the print out. No wig-wag of the print head like the older inkjets. Great for our small office We needed a more robust color printer for our small office. This printer fits the bill as it was affordable and it does everything we need...fax, scan, copy and print. It's fast, quiet (except when a scan is done and it has a loud chime, which I've set to LOW) and efficient. I've only had it a few weeks but the print is great and it doesn't seem to devour ink.
Powerfull Printer I had to reinstall the software a few times to get the printer to interface with my PC through WiFi. I don't know if it was a Windows 10 issue or not. Once was due to a lack of my PC not connecting after a Windows 10 update was installed. Instead of trying to figure out the problem, I got impatient and reloaded the software. That's the way I roll. Great Features I've been using the MFC-J6535DW for several months and have been giving it a real workout. I've been printing 9x12 sizes for a music project and it is working well for me. I love the high capacity black ink.
Great Value I took one star off because of the software. Realistically I would say 4.5 stars. This printer has great print quality. Other printers with the same features are more expensive. Primary focus to purchase a new printer was the features and cost per page to print. This printer has met my expectations. Scan quality is really good. Features and performance of a commercial printer. All the bells and whistles of a very expensive network printer without the price.
Very good so far I like most everything about it, it is a bit complcated. Especially changing paper size.
Very good printer but has a major flaw This printer was very easy to set up and is very quick to print with great features, but one very important feature that I can not get an answer for or to figure out is how to print a single check without issues.
Returned Too many steps to do anything. Printer may be fine but software isn't. Scan splash screen end up below tray requiring drag up to see scan button. Can't highlight last scanned file name and copy over or dekete. Must click edit first. Just want to do job and move on without excessive clicking or dragging.
