Clean crisp printing. Blurry glossy photo scanning It says up to a years worth of ink. Having used it for about a month, my guess is closer to 6 months, but that is still a benefit. You could possibly stretch a year out of it if you don't print much. Generic printer cartridges can be purchased at a decent price. I thought it seems to print a tad slower than my last printer which was an Epson, however its still acceptable. Lots of ink. I like the amount of ink that comes with it. No problem setting up.
Easy to use and set up. I scanned some documents and sent them to my son overseas. Also scanned and sent pictures. Wonderful unit. I am not tech savvy, but was able to set the unit up and use with no problems.

Magnifico!!!! This is a beautifully designed machine. Nice size, not bulky, attractive and works great. Print quality is excellent. A bit slow but high speed for me isn't an issue. Love the buttons for navigating through the settings. Sure beats trying to work with tiny icons on a small screen. Love that the screen is right on front, everything U need to run this baby is front and center. Kudos award goes to Brother for an affordable, user friendly printer for my home use. So far so good. So far so good. Have been using it for several months. Great print quality and ink seems to be holding up well.
Meets my needs Only drawback was setting up instructions. A bit tricky to follow. Otherwise, great product.
