Does NOT include CD Printing Tray While I am generally pleased, it is disappointing that the tray needed to print CD labels is not included in the box! Further, it does not appear to available anywhere. An astonishing disappointment. Wireless use is iffy, though it may be my network (although the Epson printer I replaced worked OK over the same, unmodified, network.
Best Printer Ever! This is by far the best printer I have ever had! I have printed so many colored pages and the ink is literally lasting forever. Also, had to figure out how to scan and unlike my last printer this one was so easy to figure out and worked perfectly.
start up easy...until you get to registration and a little problem developed i finished the installation part in an hour. then it took me almost half an hour to register the printer, b/c I kept getting messages that my password did not match. and then I had to go back and reset the password. then I had to go back a 3rd time to reset the password and, wow, they let me continue. Good value, few quirks. This printer has been a solid performer for me. Overall I think its a good value. You're getting about 3000 pages of ink, and a scanner for about what a normal printer costs. Setup was easy-- I downloaded the software for OSX from brothers site, joined the WiFi and immediately printed out ~300 pages. My only complaint would be the LCD on the printer is ridiculously small. Entering your WiFi password on the thing is a bit unwieldy. Otherwise, a solid printer I could not be happier with.
The best printer/scanner I’ve used This printer is awesome. I recently had a bad experience with another printer so I was skeptical about this one. This does it all and does it well! I am able to scan, print and do everything I need to for work using my computer and phone. Setup is a breeze - very simple and took less than 10 minutes to get going. Looks good and works good so far. In hind site it did not work well with my DELL computer It took me about an hour to get things set up. Biggest hurdle was getting my computer to recognize the soft ware. once i figured it out (I'm not a computer whiz) it ran seamlessly. As with any device it takes a while to get used to but once i get the settings tweaked i believe i"ll be satisfied with it. Tedious, but easy The printer arrived at my door today. It was easy to set up, but tedious since I had to go back and forth from computer to printer several times. It connected and ran perfectly with no cords necessary. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, except for the finish, which was finding the serial number to register the machine. Not an easy set up I spent over 3 hours on the phone with with Brother or Amazon trying to connect to my computer. The easy set up directions included with the machine were not easy nd they did not work. I have a Mac desk top OS 10.13. The customer service people were knowledgeable and helpful but parts of the set up eluded them. One happened to mention that this was a "new" printer model. All my favorite printers are Brothers We currently have 3 Brother Laser All-In-One printers, and they have performed almost flawlessly for years. I do occasionally need to print reports in color, so I was really glad to find this color inkjet AIO from Brother. When I unboxed this printer, I was a little puzzled.
