You will be happy with it. Very good printer. No real downsides yet.
Wireless Connection Problems The printer output is good in black and white and OK in color. I would give it four stars except that I don't have a CD drive (so couldn't use the enclosed setup CD) and couldn't get it to connect with my Wi-Fi router using the onscreen instructions provided. After an hour live-chatting with a Brother tech support person and following his instructions failed to result in a connection, I called tech support for a live discussion. Four Stars A bit slow but good for home, not so much for a business.
Works well good value with ink but difficult to get connected. Prints well - had a difficult time getting it to connect to a computer running windows 10. Spent over an hour with customer support before we could finally get it to connect.
What I needed. This printer works well, was relatively easy to set up, and gives good quality prints. The copy feature is quite slow, however. I have not used it to FAX anything, and probably won't.
They're nice for what we use them for - small print ... ordered two of these for the office. we've been using them for around 3 months now. They're nice for what we use them for - small print jobs at our desks. They take a long time to print a page though - so we just send big jobs and things we need fast to our big workhorse printer.
So far so good So far so good. Easy set up. Works great. Wireless aspect is so convenient. Light and compact. I did have 1 paper jam, so I'm more careful. It may have been the recycled paper, so I won't blame the printer yet.
It's Just Okay - Beware the Tray Issues This printer is "okay" for a unit that is not used often. But the paper tray does not hold a lot of paper. Getting to it to fill it is a pain. It pulls out of the front easily enough, but you must remove it nearly completely to lift the integrated cover in order to add new paper. Do not confuse it with a traditional paper drawer on every other printer. The print quality is fine, but I see no option to print in "draft" mode (not that I use it much).
