Excellent Printer This is an excellent laser printer. It is quiet and fast. I connected it via WiFi and it works perfectly. I AM experiencing a problem, but I do not know the cause. When I connected this to my router, it changed my router settings back to factory default, and the name and password settings I had created, disappeared. Brother swears it must be the fault of my router, and I haven't had the spare time to fool with it. The build quality is very good and it looks ready to stand up to years ... I am very impressed with this Business Laser All-in-one by Brother. I have always used inkjets for both personal and business use, so this is my first time owning a laser machine. Monster Printer! This thing is a monster! It is a very very large printer. So, make sure you have enough space! As I unpack this device, there are the usual 20 or 30 tapes, wraps, and various packing materials that need to be removed. Insert the tone cartridge assembly, load the paper tray, plug in the power cord, power up the unit. Good Multifunction Machine for a Small Office Two most distinctive qualities of the printer are speed and color screen. It is a fast network printer. A reasonable size color screen makes it easy to use the various functions of this machine and to change settings. It's a humdinger! Wow! This printer is so fast and efficient it is scary! The printing quality is exceptional, the letters just jump off the page. Everything is set up for max efficiency and multiple users. It can be set to automatically print on both sides of the paper for example. It has a deep sleep mode so it doesn't use a bunch of energy when it's not in use. You can buy a high yield toner for $100 that yields 8000 pages on Amazon. Such a deal! Fast and full-featured First of all, this printer is nicely styled with a sleek mixture of straight lines and curves which makes it look friendly yet elegant. Maintaining the drum is a constant headache. I plague of persistent dots on the prints requires pulling out the cartridge and cleaning off the drum. In three months of owning this printer, I have had to do this three times already. The procedure involves turning this little white gear, which is very hard to turn, and if you try to do it with your finger or your fingernail, you had better have a good manicurist.
