Don't bother, it won't wake up on LAN I actually like this printer a lot except for ONE problem they CANNOT fix. It absolutely WILL NOT wake up when you send it a print job. I have spoken with their tech support three times, each time a fix is installed, it works for a couple days, then it stops waking up AGAIN. I have asked them how to completely disable sleep mode and Brother is NO HELP at all, they love to close tech support tickets without solving the problem. no work!!! no work
Problem right out of the box Paper doesn't feed through the printer - not to copy or print. We followed unboxing instructions and install instructions . NOTHING - just wasted all day. Brother support isn't "OPEN" except during weekdays so we can't even talk to anyone. May have to just send the whole thing back..
I had a great Brother copier for years and it finally broke down I had a great Brother copier for years and it finally broke down. It would have cost too much to fix it so we bought a new, supposedly better version. It is for a small medical office. We all (5 of us) HATE the darned thing. The digital numbers are hard to read, too small and difficult to press. One Star No it did not work as I wanted it to
Wrinkles Paper!!! Printer wrinkles paper on bottom right edge. Using recommended 20lb paper and having gone through all of the trouble shorting steps on the Brother website as well as customer service help problem still persists. Very frustrating for the price of the printer.
CRINKLES the pages!!!!! First off, I would like to say that this was my 4th Brother copier that I have purchased. All others one have worked perfectly and I have no complaints (5 stars). HOWEVER, for whatever reason the first couple of pages I print of any document comes out CRINKLED at the bottom right-hand side (right where the signature line usually is). Don't buy if your one that like to save money on buying different toners to save ... Don't buy if your one that like to save money on buying different toners to save money bc this machine will not let you use any other then brother tone. If you use other toners it doesn't stick to the paper, the ink I'm talking about, I had to return 2 machine that didn't work to only find out that it was the toner not the machine it self that something was wrong. Printer will not print PDF files. Called Brother support ... Printer will not print PDF files. Called Brother support. I was told it was not their problem. I explained when I use the exact same computer to print on my old printer there is no problem. Again, I was told it must be a software issue and it is not their problem. They will not honor their warranty. Buyer beware!!!!!! Brother will not back up their product.
