Fast, cheap supplies, lots of features For cheap printing cost and cheap printers for the small business or workgroup, you can't beat these little Brothers. I also love the ones with the bigger paper capacities. It's so satisfying to throw in a whole ream of paper and printing till it runs out! It's a fast, easy to use printer. Great machine for small businesses Setup was a dream - but that's because Brother has been doing this for so long and makes quality machines. This is a great series and the toner is so inexpensive, so doing lots of printing isn't expensive. Setup took less than a few minutes once I got this big machine out of the box. It's packaged really well. Scanning is flawless, works over my network. High quality machine
Monochrome Rules I can't find anything to dislike about the 6700DW. First and foremost, the print quality is excellent, even in the default 600 dpi mode. Second of all, it's fast. I haven't clocked it to check the claimed 48 ppm but I do believe it. Third, out of the box it holds 520 sheets of paper. If you want more capacity, you can add another 520 pages with an accessory tray. Fourth, it work's splendidly in my small-office Windows 10 environment. This Brother Works! You have to admit Brother is kind of like the cousin you never talk about in the printer world. Everyone knows they are out there, but they never really talk about them. You see them, but never know anyone that actually bought one. Well this Brother printer competes with all the other name brands. It does come in a big heavy box. Look elsewhere for a printer - anywhere else! The printer has multiple issues. Pages are wrinkled, actual printing is spotty and smeared (all of these in teh first few pages). Unfortunately for me, I didn't take the printer out of the box until after the 30-day return window had closed (got it over the holidays), but the product should be covered by the Brother's 1 year warranty, right? Nope! Have contacted them and they won't stand behind their (expensive) product - BS points like "you must be using the wrong kind of paper)... read more
