Stopped Working!! We bought this machine because we had a Brother product in office and loved it. The product was delivered in late April 21 and by late July we've had nothing but issues. Feeder on top doesn't work, When we try to fax/copy it makes a weird clicking noise and the entire unit needs to be shut down and restarted. The top looks refurbished and spray painted although nowhere in the description did it claim to be a refurbished/used product. STAY AWAY!
It keeps leaving marks on the pages & it crinkles pages when feeding. I have an older model Brother & was quite happy with it, but this one, no. It keeps leaving marks all over the pages when we print. We thought the rollers were dirty, so we cleaned them many times with no luck. Also, the document feeder sometimes crinkles or tears the pages, which is not OK as I feed original documents through it to create electronic copies. Printer lifetime is less than a year It doesn’t work properly last couple months. Printer gives error every time we try to print. I have 3 other Brother printers and never had a problem. This unit is disappointing.
Horrible Printer The worst printer I have ever purchased. Spits ink all over the pages. I've run a few hundred sheets through it in hopes it would correct itself. No such luck. It is actually getting worse. It is now leaving large folding marks on the paper in addition to spitting ink all over the pages. This machine is junk. Buyer beware.
Document feeder problem Bought this new on Jan. 2017 n now its Jan 2020. Since last month or so the document feeder dont close all the way and stay up from the right side because of that if you try to feed documents from the top for fax or copy the paper get stuck or even if it go thru after couple of tries it gets all wrinkly and give you horrible results. Not happy after for the results or the time it lasted for the money I spent:(
Is a dependable product but Brother Customer Service is non existent! Ordered the extra tray for legs and letter capabilities. I print mixed packages of docs that have legal and letter. When the printer is supposed to sort and select the right tray, the legal pages get chopped off at the bottom. At times the printer just quits in the middle of a print job and turns off the turns back on. This always causes paper jams. After I clear the jam and resume printing, it starts back on page one of the package I am printing instead o... read more

Does not last We've had several of this model and all I can say is that it does not last. Also, the drums and the toner are really expensive. The cost to repair costs almost as much as buying a new one.
Paper creased This is the second MFCL6700DW that I have had in the past two years. Both of them started creasing or wrinkling the paper within a few months of use. I have always used Brother printers but I think this one is a lemon. I will upgrade to the next model definitely.
