You get what you pay for You get what you pay for. I got a very fast printer scanner fax machine copier Wi-Fi and direct Wi-Fi from my phone to this machine and it works Very well. Everything is as advertised. I got what I paid for.

I love my brother! I love my brother! It does everything beautifully, and the installation was remarkably simple. My only wish is that the Macintosh version of the software would be updated to perform all the various functions available in the PC windows version. Scanning to a PDF file, faxing from the computer, etc. are entirely lacking for those of us who use the Macintosh.
Very fast and efficient printer After checking out and reading reviews for about a month I found this one to be the perfect choice for my small business (self-employed). My main requirement for a laser printer was duplex scanning and this one does it very well. On rare occasions the scan may be crooked, but it could be weight of paper or it wasn’t set properly. Nice Printer So far the printer has been great. It was easy to setup, prints fast and clean and does doubled sided printing. The printer does a great job printing envelopes. My only issue is that you shouldn't keep envelopes in the feeder all the time. If you run out of paper in the regular paper tray the printer will default to the next tray no matter what media is in the feeder. There is the option on which tray to choose first. I love my Brother! My office is small, but my workload is large, and the Brother printer, copier, scanner, faxing machine I use has been dependable and beyond useful to me. I highly recommend Brother, especially to those who don't have a tech to come and service your office equipment; I have never had to call a repair service for my Brother. That's why I love it!
Device is terrific - software not so much The machine scans nicely, prints quickly and does a good job of doing what it's asked. However, the software and driver download on brother is not as strong, because the scanning software is clunky and the menus all look dated. Luckily, I also purchased a Brother color printer/scanner that comes with superior scanning software that also accommodates this machine, so things are now better.
