:) SO FAR, THIS PRINTER HAS NOT DISSAPOINTED ME. SEEMS TO BE A GOOD PRINTER I only had this a couple days so can't say if I love it yet reference the 4 stars..but i am definitely pleased with this printers performance so far. i researched laser printers for a long time and saw that the Brother machine had best reliability and satisfaction. Very happy - for telecommute office Been through a few color inkjet printers over the years. Always something goes wrong with ink clogs, worn out head, or worst of all system software and machine upgrades make them useless. Time to go to B&W, laser. Love this thing so far. Printing wireless from my desktop, iPhone and iPad. 2 side printing effortlessly. Scans wireless to my desktop no problem. Document feed no jams. Very good, although wireless is a bit unreliable Very good, although wireless is a bit unreliable. If it looses connectivity, it will need to run a painfully slow tool to recover. Also a pain that any remote change to the configuration requires a reboot of the pc and that if you power it off, WiFi settings get lost
IOS Printing Works Great. I love being able to print wirelessly from iPhone and iPad... It even prints a very decent B/W photo
bad software, limited function I bought and returned 2 standalone scanners prior to this one. They were slow, bad software, limited function. I came across is and although I was very happy with my later printer I have it a try. I love the device! This is cheaper than a standalone scanner but the features are so much better than what I had bought prior!
Saving money with this printer Works great. I have a smaller brother laser printer that I am very happy with as well which helped me in my decision to buy this one. I wanted a new printer that I could copy, scan and fax with and this one does everything very well. The toner lasts a really long time too. I switched to laser because I don't print very often and don't have much of a need to print in color, I was tired of having to buy ink because mine had dried up from lack of use, this solves that problem very well.
Works great! Works great! I spent $35 at Staples scanning one 70 page document into a .pdf file and decided that was the last time! Bought this "all in one" to scan documents to .pdf, fax, email scanned documents and copy (as well as do everyday printing). So far, I love it. Cost was very reasonable. I'm second guessing having not gone for the color version, but it does scan and save to .pdf files in color.
Just ok product Not fond of the touch screen to input fax numbers....would rather have actual buttons to push so that you know you are hitting the right digits, a flat screen seems a higher chance of hitting buttons close to what you really want. We felt it was loud so we quickly read thru the manual to figure out how to turn off volume! Screen display is off unless you need to use.
