Brother MFCL2740DW review We don't usually do reviews, but this printer is so nice, we've made an exception. We've used Brother machines for many years, from sergers to printers. and have never suffered problems/failure, since each is plugged into a ups/power backup to prevent electrical damage. We chose this model for all it's features, including it's all in one, replacing older, individual machines. Happy I bought this printer and not the Dell. So far so happy and it has been a couple of months. Love you CAN print and scan on both sides. Love that you can put a large amount of papers into scan - on both sides - and make one PDF. Love that you can print in large quantities without having to stop to buy ink. I won't go back to ink jet. Works Great My wife is a second grade teacher, and she makes all of her copies at home. Less stress and always working, unlike the school copier.
This printer is great. Dual sided scanning and full duplex printing is ... This printer is great. Dual sided scanning and full duplex printing is great and can all be done wireless. The only issue is that I think the default settings could be a bit more configurable instead of having to create my own shortcut buttons.

Five Stars Great, just what I was looking for
It had a perfect mix of document scanning capabilities This printer has served us well. It had a perfect mix of document scanning capabilities, the star feature being double-sided scanning WITHOUT the need to run the paper through twice. The 2740DW was the only printer I could find in this price bracket with this set of features. I was also able to set up networking with no issues and program a preset scan setting to FTP scanned file directly to our home file server. Couldn't ask for more at this price.
Five Stars Great performance has not jammed since i bought it back on April.
