The starter ink doesn't last long but the regular cartridges are fine. Way better than the ink jet it replaced I have now put about 3 reams of paper through this printer and have no complaints. Little extra steps to get it going for Google Cloud printing, but overall a fantastic choice! I only gave minus a star because it was not as easy to set up Google cloud print as my HP Laser 200 Pro, but the Brother staff was very helpful and got me up and running with a few little tweaks. Make sure to register it using the online connectivity through the printers MAC address. After spending 3 hours I got to nowhere. For this product, I got all-in-one machine functions, and it took me only 10 minutes to install the printer, seriously. So far, I have no complaint about this product. However, I noticed that the printing quality is not as good as Canon's, but to me, it's perfect enough.
Great for Mac Tried various printers from all the major brands, and have found Brother products to be the best when using in conjunction with Apple products. This is our 4th brother multifunction printer and we continue to use their products due to their easy setup, intuitive interface, and quality printing.
