Reliable I have three of these, they are very reliable and compact. I have them in different work loads and they are effective as a one a month printer at home and an everyday printer at work.
Prints as good as any printer in its range Prints as good as any printer in its range, the challenge is in Scanning and Copying. The interface in the device to get to copy or Scan is counterintuitive, tons of clicks to get to where you want. The same issue with copying from the video. They attempted to create a minimalist design and they end up with a nice printer. Just got back my old HP yo use it as a scanner...

A really nice laser printer, with scan and fax We really like this unit, which replaces a much older Brother MFC. The difference in sound level is just amazing - the old one clanked and whirred and groaned, this thing barely hums as it works. Even when it prints double-sided! I do wish this had the button for enabling/defeating fax reception as the old one had. The menu structure of this thing is relatively complex and confusing.
Great investment I've been around computers for a while now. I remember printers that had movable heads that worked like automated typewriters. And I recall the advent of new $4000 "laser" printers. So maybe that makes me an unreliable reporter. That said, this little beauty, for less than $200 performs the job of a laser printer, a copier, and a scanner.
