The way each teacher at Miami Arts Charter admirably and purposely helps the students in any possible way they can. Whether the issue is personal or not is amazing and you won't find it anywhere else.
Of course, there is always room for improvement, but at this particular school, there should be more opportunities available than the ones presented.
The teachers at my school can only put up with so much. They try really hard to make their students learn but some kids just don't want too. We keep losing good teachers not only cause students lack the will to learn but also they really don't get the respect they deserve. Administration gives them a lot to handle and it's not fair. Are school is fairly new only opened for 3 years so we are alittle rocky but I know it will get better over time.
In Maimi Arts Charter I am doing amazing with my grades, the best I've gotten so far. I met my very best friends who make the year amazing. I've grown very close to some teachers and I'm grateful for them, they really do care. My favorite experience had to when we went to art camp. It was so different,exciting,and new. We are pretty safe. We have 3 security guards always patrolling and unharmed. Teachers are very serious when it comes to lock down procedures. We don't have a school nurse. There is rarely any bullying. Nobody says anything to anyone's face or confronts them. They keep it themselves, share with their friends. They are all scared of confrontation.
Most teachers are great, friendly, and genuinely care about our education. Of course there are always a couple of teachers who are the exception but the students can freely talk to the principal about it and those teachers are fastly replaced.
I love this school and its environment.
There are only two clubs but we do a lot of fun extracurricular activities like trips, shows, concerts, karaoke, haunted houses, art showings, recitals, etc.
Overall, the Arts program is spectacular. I, and I believe many other students, can say that we all have thrived in what we are passionate about.
